GODDARD, Christina M. – of Montrose, age 52, died Sunday, May 12, 2024, at McLaren Flint. Funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Honoring her wishes, cremation will follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 11AM until 8PM and Thursday from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Christina was born November 12, 1971, in Flint, to Jim and Dee (Arvin) Eberline. She graduated from Hill-McLoy High School in Montrose with the class of 1989, and proudly worked as a caregiver for much of her life. Christina shared 26 memorable years with Kenneth Goddard, and together they raised four beautiful children. Later in life, she met Terry Bentley, and they have been inseparable ever since. She was a member of the Mt. Sinai Lutheran Church in Montrose. Known for her love of crocheting, sewing, and tending to her garden, Christina found solace in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Eminem, and catching up on her favorite TV shows on TLC. Christina cherished her family above all else, finding joy on the family’s annual baking day where love was the secret ingredient. Her devotion knew no bounds, and her children were the constellation of her pride and joy. Resilient and fierce, Christina stood strong through life's trials, her passion and selflessness shining bright in all she did. As we gather to honor her life, let us remember Christina's spunky spirit and unwavering love. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Christina is forever remembered by her Children: Mathew Goddard, Meagan Goddard, Devin (Micaela Delarosa) Goddard, and Emma Goddard; Granddaughter, Laveya Jude Goddard; Father, Jim Eberline; Mother, Dee (Larry) Zichowic; Sister, Angela (Allen) Fisher; Brother, Christian Adams; Significant Other, Terry Bentley and family; Father of her Children, Kenneth Goddard; Bonus Mom, Diane Weidenhammer-Miller; Beloved Companion, Nova; Several nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Christina was preceded in death by: Grandma Doris Eberline; Grandma Shirley Trevarrow; Grandma “GiGi” Hazel; Grandma and Grandpa Goddard; Grandam Hescott; Brother-in-law, Chad Smith. |
