KORYCIAK, John James Jr. (Jack)- Of Swartz Creek, age 82, died Friday, November 16, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison;
Reverend Father Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be directed Welcome Home Assisted Living in Owosso or Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
Visitation 1-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Tuesday at church until the time of the Mass.
Jack was born in Flint on July 19, 1936, the son of the late John Sr. and Theresa (Belchik) Koryciak. He retired from GM Chevrolet Metal Fab. Jack was a member of St. Johns Church in Davison and a member of Knights of Columbus. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA. Jack loved walleye fishing, golfing, hunting and traveling to Hawaii.
Surviving are children, Gale (Chuck) Sanford, Ron (Sue) Koryciak;
sister, Barbara Hallwood of Flushing, MI;
brothers, Richard (Sharon) Koryciak, Louie (Anne) Koryciak, Jerry (Janet) Koryciak; sister, Kathy (Ray) Croteau;
granddaughters, Amy (Brad) Yerian of Owosso, MI, Jennifer Kintgen of Swartz Creek, MI;
grandsons, Corey (Carrie) Koryciak of Williamston, MI and Kyle Koryciak of Davison, MI;
great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Brennan, Brianna, Evan, Gage and Graham;
many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Fred Bruso.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Audrey P. Ward and Sue Pike.
