SWANSON, Bonnie Rae – of Clio, age 66, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Dan Shinabarger officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 8, 2018 from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Bonnie was born January 19, 1952 in Flint, Michigan to the late Alvin and Retha (Wager) Swanson. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Beecher High School with the class of 1970. Bonnie also attended Mott Community College. Prior to her retirement in 2008, she worked as an Electrician for GM at Buick City for 30 years. Bonnie owned and operated Pretty Projects in Clio and was a member of the Genealogy Club. She enjoyed reading, doing crafts and sewing. Bonnie was known to all as Aunt Bonnie from family and friends. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Diane (Wilton) Wager and Belva Smith.
Surviving are: Nieces and Nephews, Angela (Jay) Gill, Shane Sims, Jamie Bauman, Brad (Amanda) Sims; Great Nieces and Nephews, Kenneth Gill, Jadie Gill, Wyatt Gill, Hunter Sims, Harleigh Sims, Devon Bauman, Tristin Bauman, Josh Sims, Arianna Sims; Brother in law, Brad Sims Sr.; her adopted Albro Family; and many extended family and friends.
