MOSS, Elizabeth A. – Of Burton, age 53, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Mayor Paula Zelenko officiating.
Visitation 1 p.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery at 10 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2015.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for her grandchildren, checks payable to Valerie Allie.
Elizabeth was born in Riverside County, California on May 27, 1961.
She loved her cats and dogs; and especially loved spending time with her family.
Ms. Moss worked for the City of Burton for 13 years.
Surviving are son, Jack Adkins II (Holly Butterfield;)
daughter, Sarah (Don) Federspiel;
best friend/sister, Valerie Allie;
mother, Betty Huntley;
brothers, Joseph and John (Angel) Ferris;
sisters, Geneva (John) Heacock, Rebecca Nemecheck, Rachell Hughey (Mark Birdsey) and
Roberta (Kurt) Miller;
granddaughters, Brooklyn, Kailey, Evylin and Scarlett;
special friend, Rose Jewell;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Ferris.
