PARKER, Stewart “Budd” Albert – of Flint, MI, formerly of Traverse City, MI, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. A Private Committal Service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Traverse City, MI. A Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date.
Budd was born in Havre de Grace, MD, on December 6, 1941, son of the late Robert E. and Stella (Mann) Parker. He married Shirley Rauh on November 9, 1992 in Bel Air, MD. Budd was self-employed at Mobile Machine as a tool and die maker. He also worked at GM for 10 years as a gauge repairman and owned Lock Stock & Barrell many years ago. Budd had a passion for collecting coins, tools, machinery, antique guns, steam engines, cookbooks, copper pans, and Bolen lawnmowers. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles, puttering, working with his hands, history and telling stories. Budd also enjoyed going on his yearly Las Vegas trip and his trip to Jamaica. He truly loved his family and making people laugh. Budd also loved his two cats, George and Alice
Budd is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; former-wife, Beth (Morden) Parker; children, JoAnn Howart, Tricia (Tracy) Robertson, Julie Parker and Jeanne (Hicham) Taiymi; grandchildren, Joshua and Jenna Howart, Kristine and Nicholas Robertson, Geoffrey, Anthony and Alexis Parker, Noah and Natalie Dietrich; great-grandchildren, Isabella Howart, Jimmy and Charlotte; step-daughters, Julie Elliott and Nanci Simmons; step-grandchildren, Robert Elliott, Wyatt, Morgan and Hannah Simmons; step great-grandchildren, Autumn and Scarlett Elliott; sister, Jeanne (Terry) Whiteford; life-long friend, Jim Elliott; many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his his parents; son, Stewart R. Parker; and son-in-law, David A. Howart Sr.
