GAUTHIER, CLIFFORD J. age 87, died Sunday, June 16, 2019 at McLaren Regional Medical Center Flint. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Fr. Peter Lawrence officiating. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 P.M. at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Burial with Military Honors will be 9:00 A.M. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. Clifford was born November 28, 1931 in Black River, MI to parents Antoine Dolphus and Melvena (LaVigne) Gauthier. Clifford Taught Ballroom dancing in 1958 which won him his bride Delores Dipzinski, who he married October 4, 1958,. He was a devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church for over 50 years. He retired from General Motors in 1987. Clifford was a member of Flint Elks Club #222 since 1974 and was a avid Golfer and bowler and loved to hunt with his sons and brothers. He and Delores spent winters in Westley Chapel, FL since 1993. Surviving are wife of 60 years, Delores; children Dawn (Edward) Jakubik, Laurie (Steven) Shimmons, Jeffrey (Tammy) Gauthier, Paul (Jennifer) Gauthier; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings Loretta Baxter, Everett Gauthier; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and 14 of his brothers and sisters.
