Linda Louise Marston, born on February 14, 1944, passed away on September 1, 2024, surrounded by love and prayers at Fischer Rehabilitation Senior Center in Mayville, Michigan. She was the beloved daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Bennett) Brace.
Linda graduated from North Branch High School in 1962 and married Emeret Marston on July 14 of that same year. She spent her entire life in North Branch, except for 26 winters spent in Florida after Emeret retired from General Motors’ Buick Motor Division.
Her family meant the world to her, and she was an amazing mother, wife, and friend. Linda made friends wherever she went and loved playing cards, working in her yard, quilting, painting, going out to eat, and socializing. Linda was incredibly creative, with a talent for painting, quilting and stained-glass work. She also enjoyed making and selling her crafts at local shows.
She is survived by her husband, Emeret; her daughters Kim (Mark) Hayward of Lapeer, Karla (Terry) Keyser of Hemlock and Kelly (Scott) Ledingham of Monroe. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Justin (Amy) Hayward, Brittany Hayward (Wil Giron), Bailey (Jack) Spencer, Peyton and Reese Marston, Kenton and Reagan Keyser, and Lukas Ledingham. Linda is survived by her three sisters: Ruth Whitehead, Jean Shipley, and Debbie McCall; and four brothers: Bob, Bill, Mike, and Steve Brace. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Elizabeth Brace; her son, Kelvin Marston; her granddaughter, Camryn Marston; her sister, Betty Walker; and her brother, Jim Brace.
A memorial visitation will be held where family and friends may visit 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville. Memorial contributions in memory of Linda may be made to North Branch Girls Sports. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville.
