DRAPER, Obbie “Bobbie” – of Davison, age 83, passed away October 12, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center-Briarwood. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5-8 PM and on Monday from 1-3 & 5-8 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Tuesday.
Obbie was born in Harrisburg, AR on March 30, 1933, daughter of the late Charles and Flora Allen. She married Delbert E. Draper in Arkansas on October 2, 1978 and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2001. Obbie retired from Ternstedt-Fisher Body. She was Chair Person of Retirees Union UAW Local #326 and was a member of the Clio Eagles.
Obbie is survived by grandsons, Michael Wiseman and Joseph Wiseman; great-grandson, Jaxson Wiseman; great-granddaughters, Brianna and Jenna Forster; significant other of 13 years, J.C. Forster and his children, Jim and Ruby Forster; brother, Frank; best friend, Gayle Mertz. She was preceded in death by children, Eugene Wiseman, Charles Michael Wiseman and Brenda DeBarr.
