GWALTNEY, William “Willy” – of Otisville, age 47, passed away September 27, 2017 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will be 11 AM – 3 PM Wednesday.
Willy was born in Flint, MI on March 30, 1970, son of Johnnie and Anna (Messner) Gwaltney. He married Katie Koepke on September 26, 2015 and they were together since 2004. Willy was a “motor head” and enjoyed muscle cars and drag racing. He had a 1972 Camaro called “Olivia”. Willy enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outside. Willy cherished his family above all else.
Willy is survived by his wife, Katie; children, Amanda DeMeyers, Rebecca (AJ) Michaud, Tim (Jaymie) Sutton; granddaughter, Annabell; siblings, Patsy Zurita, Brian Gwaltney, Sandra (Andy) Miner, Yvonne (Jeff) Broecker, Jimmy Gwaltney; father, John; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna and his four-legged friend, Jynx.
