MEARS, Linda Mae (Bogard) - Age 68, of Flint, died November 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held from 12 PM until the time of service. Linda was born November 21, 1946 in Stuart, VA, the daughter of William Moyer and Wilma Jean (Wright) Rogers. She retired from General Motors with over 30 years of service. Surviving are: children, Lanah (Bogard) Harris, Douglas Howell Bogard; great-grandchildren, Alexzandria Patton, James Deitz, Jonathan Deitz; brother, Dale (Tammy) Rogers; sister, Betty (Mayford) Scott; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty (Bogard) and Bill Conley; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Howell Bogard in 1967; parents; granddaughter, Mariah Jane Bogard; grandson, William Wesley Deitz II.
