PSENSKI, John Arthur – age 61, of Grand Blanc, MI died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 12PM-3PM and again from 6PM-8PM at the funeral home. A rosary service will be held at 7PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church – 11824 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI 48439 with one hour of visitation prior to the mass. Father Gary Koenigsknecht celebrant. Entombment to follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. John was born in Flint, MI on July 11, 1953 to Arthur and Doris (Gilbert) Psenski. He was the eldest of 4 children, a committed husband, and a dedicated father of 3. John was a strong man with a goofy sense of humor. He loved through his acts of service and lived to create memories with his family. He is at rest with our Heavenly Father and already greatly missed. John was a man of many self-taught talents, from making music on the piano, guitar, and drums; to remodeling, including plumbing, drywall, tile work, and painting. He dabbled in baking, gardening, landscaping, and enjoyed watching birds, wildlife, and NASCAR. John is survived by his wife, Marie (Elkins); brother, Donald; sisters, Karen Michniewicz and Sharon Isaac; sons, Jason (Genevieve) Psenski and Ryan (Jessica) Psenski; daughter, Kara (Ron) Cribbs; and 3 grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Doris Psenski. Those desiring may make contributions to the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor in John’s memory.
