HOPPER, Cindy Lou – of Mt. Morris, age 58, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Briarwood Manor. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Eagles Nest Church, 4181 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Mt. Morris. Pastor Larry Survance officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10AM until time of services at 11AM. Contributions may be made to Christian Motorcycle Association payable to Run for the Son, 2091 Carrier Dr. Mt. Morris, MI 48458.
Cindy was born June 4, 1956 in Flint to the late Warren and Hilda (Kirby) Convis and lived in the Flint area her entire life. She was baptized at Eagles Nest Church. Cindy was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Surviving are: son, Donald Duane Damon III of LA; siblings: Wendy (Chuck) Davis of Mt. Morris, Marty (Larry) Guy of Skidway Lake, Peggy (Dennie) Zitterkoph of Clare, Dan (Priscilla) Gardner of MS; Brother in law, Butch Vanhouten; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Penny Edwards, Pam Bennett and Dana Vanhouten.
