FOX, Ione Marie – Of Flint, age 93, died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Regency at Grand Blanc.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road in Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church Educational Fund or Holy Redeemer Loving Heart Ministries.
Visitation 11-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Rosary will be prayed Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fox will be at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the Mass.
Ione was born in Escanaba, MI on January 17, 1922, the daughter of
John and Doris (Menard) Willette.
She married William Coburn in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1964. She then married Lloyd Fox on June 23, 1967 and he preceded her in death 2004.
She was a founding member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and was an active member of the CCW.
Surviving are two children, Sharon and husband Sonny Burrows of Swartz Creek,
Diane and husband Randy Kilbreath of Flint;
daughter-in-law, Jan Coburn of Swartz Creek;
four grandchildren;
11 great-grandchildren;
3 great-grandchildren;
sister, Joyce Mobilio of Grand Blanc;
several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Bill Coburn, in 2001; brother-in-law, Ralph Mobilio and sister-in-law, Mary Spidle.
