WURTS, Phyllis June (Rogers) – of Flint, age 80, passed away December 6, 2018 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Phyllis was born in Miami, WV on June 9, 1938, daughter of the late Charles Edgar and Sarah May (Donohue) Rogers. She married James Albert Wurts in Flint, MI on December 29, 1956.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, James; children, James, Jr., Karen and Michael; six grandchildren, Michael II, Jessica, Madison, David, Alanna and Cody; five great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Marie Rogers. She was preceded in death by six siblings.
