SMITH (RAMEY), Kathryn JoAnn – Of Flint, age 67, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Willowbrook Manor.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 1 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Kathryn was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 7, 1951, the daughter of Monte Ramey and Jacquelyn (Joseph) Hayton.
Kathryn was considered a historian. She was very smart and loved reading. She loved animals and was a people person. Above all, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Surviving are children, Millard (Amy) Hubbard III,
Andrew (Lindsay) Hubbard and Lesley (Aaron) Hubbard;
grandchildren, Timothy, Timmer, Skylar, Ayden, Peyton, Madilynn, Bentley and Jason;
siblings, Diana (Michael) French, Jean Merkle and Joleen Hayton;
many nieces and nephews, with a special bond to her niece, Jennifer French and her loving family in Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by husband, Edward Smith; son, Jason;
father and mother; step-father, Joseph Hayton; Mamaw and Papaw Ramey; sisters, Janice and Elizabeth; grandson, Lucas.
