STODDARD, Lawrence Harry – of Clio, age 51, died Monday, November 11, 2013 at Maple Wood Manor. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, November 15, 2013 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ron Scott officiating. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday and Thursday from 1-9PM and on Friday from 12 Noon until time of services at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Lawrence was born December 31, 1961 in Flint to the late Harry and Edith (Jolly) Stoddard. He attended Elmer A. Knopf Learning Center. He worked at Serendipity and Vocational Independence Program. He attended Trinity Baptist Church in Flushing. Lawrence enjoyed doing hook rugs, coloring, going on outings and playing with his great nephews and nieces.
Surviving are: siblings, Linda Streng of Flint, Hudson (Debbie) Stoddard of TN, Twila (Richard) Moore of Clio, Roxanne Wentworth of GA, James Stoddard of Flint; 3 uncles; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thank you to the staffs of Bowen Adult Foster Home, Joal Group Home, Maple Wood Manor and Hurley Medical Center for their excellent care.
