CORBIN, Alberta A. - Age 91, of Fenton, formerly of Clio, died December 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 806 Main St., Fenton. Pastor Dean Dumbrille will officiate. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10 AM until the time of service Thursday at church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church or the charity of one's choice. Alberta was born November 18, 1924 in Flint, the daughter of Charles and Cora Gillette. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio, where she volunteered for many years. She enjoyed spending time at Higgins Lake and was a talented seamstress. Alberta loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nothing was more important to her than family. She is survived by her children, Craig (Karen) Corbin, Dana (Jo-Ann) Corbin and Elaine Cassidy; grandchildren, Jennifer Corbin, Jason Corbin, Christine (Jeff) Welsh, Michael (Kate) Cassidy, Wendy (Michael) Planicka, Amy (Derrick) Beaven, Matt (Sarah) Cassidy and Jeremy Corbin; great-grandchildren, Emily Kerns, Elly-Ann Beaven, Arlene and Lydia Planicka, Finn Cassidy, Elise Beaven, Elizabeth Beaven, Auden Cassidy and Archer Cassidy; brother, Roger (Evelyn) Gillette; nieces and nephews.
