WISWOSSER, Charles E. - Of Newport, age 62, passed away on April 16, 2015 at Heartland/Fostrian Hospice.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held later on a sunny NASCAR race day.
Charles was born on July 14, 1952, son of the late Robert and Virginia (Winterstein) Wiswosser. After graduation from Flushing, Charles worked as far away as Texas, before returning to work at Fisher Body. He retired from Ford in 2004.
He enjoyed traveling, casinos and ALL sports. He especially liked watching and traveling to any NASCAR race.
Chuck will be greatly missed by sister, Kay (John) Fritzler and Lynn (Wayne) Hammerberg;
several nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends, Mark and Shannon Mannor, Scott and Joni Prins;
aunts and uncle, Darlene and Al Downum and Jean Winterstein from Florida.
He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Richard and Paul.
If desired, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
