HUMPHRIES, Georgia Marlene - Of Burton, age 83, died Monday, August 26, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 3pm Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 12 Noon Wednesday at the funeral home until the time of the service.
Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Contributions may be made to the Special Olympics, Area 13.
Georgia was born in Flint on July 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Harry and Helen (LaBerge) Weiss. She was employed with General Motors for 11.5 years. Georgia was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Surviving are children, Terry Humphries, Kenneth (Vicky) Humphries, Paul Humphries and Deora Barden;
sister, Cheanne Lucot;
brother, Anthony (Patricia) Weiss;
grandchildren, Gregory, Christina, Billy, Justin, Garett, Derrek, Kaitlyn, Rachel and Cole;
great-grandchildren, Ryan, Collin, Alex, Addi, Kye, Lilli, Charlotte, Alivia, Adrian, Mason and Jaelynn;
great-great-grandchildren, Lila and Zayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Greg Humphries and daughter-in-law, Clare Humphries.
