Aho, Richard L. – of Clio, age 83, died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Flint Memorial Park with military honors. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11-3 and 5-9 PM and on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Fund.
Richard was born May 9, 1930 in Marquette, Michigan to the late John and Martha (Koski) Aho. He attended Northern High School in Flint. Richard was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post # 64. He retired from Buick as a machine shop supervisor with 36 years of service. Richard was also a member of the Fellowship Lodge #490 F & AM, the Elf Khurafeh Shrine Temple and Jester Court #74.
Surviving are: 3 children: Mark Lingo of FL., Lisa (John) Ursuy of Clio and Cathy (John) Klockow. 4 grandchildren: Marc, Ellaine, Jared and Jamie. 3 great grandchildren. Companion, Agnes Nieznajko.
