FOWLER, Roy Robert Sr. -- passed away peacefully on February 20, 2020 at home in Swartz CreekMichigan at 76 years old. Roy is survived by his wife, Shryl Lois Fowler (Will) , daughters, Robin Fowler, David Cross, Nancy Shivlie, Jim; sons, David Christler, Dennis Chrisler, Connie, Rocky Fowler, Mary, Randy Fowler, Roy Fowler Jr. and brothers, IrvinFowler, Carol and Roger Fowler; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Gertrude and Earl Fowler; sister, Livonia, brothers, Toby, Alan, Larry, Marvin, J.P.' daughter, Glenda Brooks; son, James Chrisler and grand daughter, Samantha. Born on October 20, 1943 in Tabor City North Carolina moved to Michigan and attended Michigan School of the Deaf. He was a GM Retiree, enjoyed fishing with his brother and being with his family.
A memorial service will take place 11 AM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek, 5372 Seymour Rd, Swartz Creek. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek.
A celebration of Life will be held this summer at a later date. This loving husband, father, brother and friend will be deeply missed. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
