WEBSTER, George Amon - Of Daytona Beach, Florida, formerly of Flint, age 67, died Saturday September 28, 2013.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am Saturday, October 5, 2013
at Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 5375 West Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris, MI, Pastor Doug Klein officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Colonial Hills Baptist Church in George’s name.

George was born in Osceola, Arkansas on December 10, 1945, the son of the late George and Odie Webster. George graduated from Flint Southwestern High School, Class of 1963. George Amon spent most of his working career sharing the love of God through song, most notably with the Cathedral Quartet, The Brothers, Heartland Boys and Toney Brothers and locally with the Calvarymen and Templeaires.

Surviving are 2 children, Tim of Fenton and Tamyra Huss of Flushing;

6 grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor, Josh, Ryan, Brittany and Trey;

brothers, Jerry, Ken, Larry and Dannie;

sister, Shirley (Albert) Wash;

nieces, nephews and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Alfred, Neal and Charles, and sister Sarah Bernell.
