Clarence Delmar "Del" Rodgers
Age 81 of Flint went to be with Jesus on December 18, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Funeral Services will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Durand Church of the Nazarene, 9725 East Monroe Road, Durand with Pastor Michael McCarty officiating. Burial will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the Durand Church of the Nazarene on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Clarence was the son of Edward Clarence and Amanda (Armstrong) Rodgers; born in Kieffer, West Virginia on April 18, 1937.
Clarence married Nancy Mae Wargo in Vernon, Michigan on December 4, 1964. He served in the United States Army as Military Policeman from 1956 to 1959. Del worked at General Motors in production for over 30 years.
He was a member of the Durand Church of the Nazarene. Del loved hunting and family gatherings.
Del is survived by his wife Nancy; daughters Pamela Hazen, Lori Rodgers and Lynette Clark; son David; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; eleven siblings and their spouses; special friend Glen Miller; many nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; one sister and two brothers.
Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
