WEST, David A. – of Clio, age 58, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his residence, with family by his side. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Jim Harvey officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12PM until 8PM and on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
David was born August 29, 1961 in Flint, Michigan to Robert and Ida (York) West. He married Angela Perria on August 19, 1986 in Gladwin, Michigan. Mr. West retired from Consumers Energy in 2019 after 27 years of service, he was very proud of his job and being a lineman. David was a member of Mt. Morris Christian Faith Church. He enjoyed Nascar races, camping, and loved his Camaro. Above all, Dave loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are: Wife, Angela West; Daughters: Elizabeth Patrick, and Christina (Rob) Gipson; Sons: Lloyd “William” (Meghan) West, and Sean West; Grandchildren: Brooke, Nathan, Maya, Aiden, Ryleigh, Kellcie, Evan, Meyah, Emmett, and Jozlynn; 2 great grandchildren: Aubrianna and Brayden; Father, Robert West, Sr.; Sisters: Deb West, and Cindy West; Many other loving family members and dear friends.
