PERSAILS, Harold W. - of New Lothrop, age 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at his residence with family by his side. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10AM until 7PM and Saturday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Montrose Baptist Church.
Harold was born February 13, 1943 in Albion, Michigan to the late Carl and Ruby (Tule) Persails. He graduated from Clio High School in 1961. Harold married Marsha Wilson July 27, 1968 in Clio. Mr. Persails retired from Buick with over 37 years seniority, including 2 years as a Buick committeeman and was a member of the UAW Local #599. Harold is a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening and keeping an immaculate lawn. Harold also enjoyed watching NASCAR, and the Detroit Pistons and Tigers. He loved taking care of people and was always very loving and giving. Harold was known for always treating people to a Brach’s cinnamon or peppermint candy. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Wife, Marsha Persails; Children: Jeff (Ashley) Persails; Kristy Brown (Fiancé Justin Majeske), and Jason (Ashley) Persails; 9 grandchildren: Kaylie Brown, Corbin Brown, Hailey Kataja, Lilly Persails, Wyatt Persails, Hudson Persails, Isabelle Persails, Rylie Persails, and Dylan Persails; 2 Sisters: Janice Rivera, and Sue Persails.
