TERRY, Richard - of Davison, age 64, died on Tuesday June 16th, 2020.
A memorial service will be held 1pm Tuesday June 23, 2020 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423. Father Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00am Tuesday until the time of the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Private burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Richard was born April 2nd, 1956 in Flint, MI to Virgil and Dola (Coffel) Terry. On May 12th 1979 he married Sue Pascal, his wife of 41 years.
Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, working on classic cars, riding his motorcycle with friends, and recently remodeling the family cabin up north. He was a beloved husband, a proud father, and “totally amazing loving” Papa. He was employed through McDonalds for 48 years, building life-long relationships with managers, co-workers, and employees. He earned many accolades over his career. To list a few: Outstanding Store Manager, Best Profit Award, Best People Award, Team Player, and Outstanding Operations Award.
Surviving are wife Sue, children James (Lisa), Jason, and Kara Terry; 2 granddaughters Ella and Morgan; sisters Kathy (Ed) McMahon, Connie and the late Chuck Jenks, and Christy (Larry) Brown; Sister-in-laws’ Pamela Pascal, Cathy Pascal, Carrie Rothwell, Patti (Phil) Rowe and Cindy Brown. In addition to several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Also, close friends Dave Lemon, Steve Steffan, Chuck Mahon, and Ron Darling.
Preceded in death by his daughter Sara Marie; father Virgil and mother Dola Terry; In-laws Frank and Joyce Pascal.
The family would like to thank the McDonald’s family for all of their love and support during these unprecedented times. Furthermore, we would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Raj and Dr. Adams and their staff for their care of Richard over many years.
