DALTON, Edna M. – of Flint, age 90, passed away May 26, 2016 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday June 1, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 6434 Richfield Rd., Flint; Pastor Jack Dowden officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8PM Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Edna was born in Flint, MI on February 18, 1926, daughter of the late Norman and Lola (Lock) Hoover. She married Robert C. Dalton on February 9, 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2008. Edna was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a very devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Edna is survived by her children, Cindy (Gerald) Huntley, Brad (Anna) Dalton, Brenda (John) Stevens, Jeff (Terry) Dalton, Bruce (Vicky) Dalton; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Maxine Kominski. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Katie, Allie, Leila and Clyde.
