Died September 14, 2018 in Genesee Township. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth Avenue, Flint, Father Anthony Strouse officiating.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Grades will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the Mass.
Tommy will be remembered first and foremost for his generous and loving spirit. His charm and great sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him. He loved sports and the great outdoors. He was appreciated for his hard work and going above and beyond. Tommy's sharp mind and quick wit entertained us all. He was full of life and energy and lived each day to the fullest. He really, really loved horseradish.
He is survived by his son Caleb Austin Hardy, his mother Sandy, brothers Michael and Joey, and his wife Rebecca, sister Mary Mylchreest, and her husband Graham, niece Stella, and nephews Liam and Joey. Tommy will be greatly missed by his girlfriend Misty Rogers. Mr. Grades was preceded in death by his father Joseph Raymond Grades Jr.
