STANBAUGH, Earl David – of Tawas City, age 88, died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Lakeview Manor in Tawas City, Michigan. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 12, 2019 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Compassus Hospice.
Earl was born March 14, 1930 in Flint, Michigan to the late Floyd and Bessie Stanbaugh. He grew up in Burton, Michigan and attended Atherton Schools. He served his country in the US Army. On March 13, 1954 he married LeuElaine White and she preceded him in death on February 28, 2016. Prior to his retirement in 1990 from ABF Freight, Earl was a truck driver for 30 years. He was a member of the Secord Lake Eagles Aerie 4121. Earl enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid Piston’s fan.
Surviving are: Son, David Stanbaugh; Granddaughter, Jennifer (Mike) Marcin; Great Grandchildren, Nolan Marcin, Spencer Marcin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Wife, LeuElaine; Sons, James Stanbaugh, Rodney Fields; Grandson, Kevin Stanbaugh.
