JACOBY, Robert – of Davison, MI, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at MYMichigan Health Center- Saginaw, surrounded by his family. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Davison United Methodist Church, 207 E. Third St., Davison; Pastor Rob McPherson officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice, in Robert’s memory.
Robert was born in Caro, MI on October 20, 1939, son of the late George and Lillian (Rupp) Jacoby. He married Prudy Blough on August 8, 1964 in Flint, MI. Bob spent two years active duty in the US Navy, serving aboard the USS Shangrala and the USS Enterprise with Fighter Squadron-Sixty-Two. He attended Flint Junior College and Central Michigan College. He was employed by General Motors for 29 Years. Bob was a member of the Davison United Methodist Church serving as an usher, member of church committees, and the clothing room for the needy.
Robert is survived by his wife, Prudy of Davison; brother, Dan (Kathy) Jacoby; sister-in-law, Kathy Koch; nephew, Travis (Carrie) Weeks; great niece and nephew, Grace and Tim Weeks; many other loving family members and friends.
