BARBER, Raymond - Of Grand Blanc, age 88, died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Alfred L. Thomas officiating.
Burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Hadley, Michigan.
Visitation 1-3pm and 5-7pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Raymond was born in Goodrich, MI on December 18, 1926. On September 12, 1953 he married Gladys Mortier. Raymond worked 20 years for the Bendle School District, retiring in 1989. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Surviving are wife, Gladys;
children, Daniel and wife Patricia of Lake City, Steven and wife Karen of Lake City, Laurie and husband Curtis Gear if Flint and Jeffrey of Burton;
grandchildren, Mia, Amy, Liana, Waylan, Michael, Bradley, Caitlyn, Kelsie;
7 great-grandchildren;
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Ralph.
