INGRAM, Geraldine Marie – of Montrose, age 95, has gone to be with the Lord on Friday, April 12, 2013 at her home with her family at her side. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Rev. Carl Halquist and Rev. Dan Pugh officiating. Burial will be in Montrose Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1-4 & 6-9PM. Contributions may be made to Montrose Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
Geraldine was the only child of late Lewis and Edith (Eldred) Judd of Montrose. She was born May 3, 1917 at the Judd home. She lived a long enjoyable life in Montrose for 95 years. In 1938 she married Robert Davidson of Birch Run, MI. They were married for 1 year before his untimely death on March 1, 1939. She later gave birth to their son, Robert W. Davidson. In July of 1946 she met Lloyd Elias Ingram. They were married 2 months later on September 7, 1946. They later had James L. Ingram. They were married for 64 years until Lloyd’s passing on April 20, 2011. As a young lady she enjoyed a large group of friends. She was a member of the Montrose Methodist Church and took part in many activities. After marrying Lloyd Ingram, they became members of Trinity Assemblies of God. She worked at Redmond’s of Owosso and went on to work at AC Spark Plug for 10 years until becoming a stay at home mother and wife.
Surviving are: sons, Robert (Mary) Davidson from Essexville, James (LaDonna) Ingram of Montrose; grandchildren, Beth (Mark) Bentley of Northville, MI, Dawn (Aaron) Tuck of Piney Flats, TN, Tim (Kristine) Ingram of Montrose and Rhonda Ingram of Montrose; 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: husbands Robert Davidson and Lloyd Ingram; and a great grandson, Alexander Bentley. Geraldine and her family would like to thank Elizabeth’s Assisted Living for taking such good care of her, and to Eleanor Briggs and Illa Schooley for being such kind and wonderful friends.
