Charles “Chuck” E. Traver, age 87, of Columbiaville died April 25, 2018 at Devonshire Retirement Community.
Charles was born February 4, 1931 in Columbiaville to the late Harold and Erma Traver. He served his country Honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and later married Jan Abbey. He was a member of Otisville Masonic Lodge 401, VFW Post 2409 of Otter Lake, umpired ballgames, and Shriner’s of Saginaw.
Charles is survived by Sherry (Larry) Young, Daniel C. Traver, David (Dorothy) Traver, Sandra (Jon) Montgomery, siblings: JoAnne (Ed) Anthony, Ronald (Mary) Traver, Judy Hunt, grandchildren: Kammi, Danielle, Kendrea, Jeremie, Zak, Breigh, Andrea, great-grandchildren: Justin, Madison, Abbey, Jacob, Sadie, Gabe, Lilly, Traver, Nathaniel, Aria, Xavier, Elijah, Lucia, and Isaac. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and great-grandchildren: Austin, Ethan, and Dominic.
Please join Chucks family to celebrate his life 11:00 AM on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit Sunday 2:00 to 8:00 PM. Pastor Tim Bashore officiating. Interment Wood Lawn Cemetery. A special thanks to Chuck’s Devonshire family for their loving and care.
