BROCK, Harold R., Jr. – Of Burton, age 63, died Sunday, November 2, 2014 at University of Michigan Hospitals, after his brave battle with Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2143 South Center Road, Burton, Father Matthew-Peter Butrie officiating.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Contributions may be directed t St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.

Visitation 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 1-6 p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.

A Parastas Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Brock will be at the church from 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service.

Harold was born in Flint, Michigan on June 15, 1951, son of the late Harold Sr. and Goldia Brock.

He graduated from Bentley High School Class of 1970. Harold attended Mott Community College, where he studied to become an Electrical Apprentice for GM.

Harold was baptized into Orthodoxy on May 3, 1973.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, and had served on the board for 15 years.

On May 12, 1973 Harold married the love of his life, Laurie Naumoff at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. The two loved each other unconditionally and had 41 happy years together.

Harold was very active in and supportive of all his children and grandchildren's lives and activities. He was a kind and selfless man, who always put his family first.

He was employed as a Journeyman Electrician for General Motors Grand Blanc Tank Plant and Hamtramck Plant and retired after 33 years.

Surviving are his loving wife, Laurie;

two daughters, Stephanie and husband Ian Price of Milford, Stacy and husband Kerry Loomis of Owosso;

son, Joseph of Burton;

four grandchildren, Katelyn and Alexandra Price, Ariana and Julianna Loomis;

two sisters, Sara and husband Chuck Fyvie and Joann Perigo;
brother, James and wife Joyce Brock;

mother-in-law, Mary Naumoff;
two brothers-in-law, Robert and Rick Naumoff;

many nieces, nephews, special nephew, Dean Perigo and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas; two brothers, Richard and Gerald; niece, Shelley Brock; brother-in-law, David Perigo and father-in-law, George Naumoff.
