VUKELICH, George – age 86, of Davison, MI, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at Ascension St. Mary’s in Saginaw. Family will receive visitors Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 11 am-1 pm at Davison Missionary Church, 1481 North Gale Road, Davison, MI 48423, with service immediately following. Rev. Jason Crum officiating. Interment will immediately follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital (for children).
George was born in Flint, MI on August 16, 1934, son of the late Louis and Frieda Vukelich. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from April 1957 to April 1959. George married Barbara Deplounty on June 20, 1959 and she preceded him in death on January 25, 2002.
George is survived by his children, Tony (Lorri) Vukelich, Jerry (Julie) Vukelich, Kim Wier and Pat (Cathy) Vukelich; grandchildren; Amanda (husband Jesse), Jess (husband John), Ashley (husband Ron), Mark, Brandon, Chad (wife Alivia), Alyssa and Ethan; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth; survived by sister, Ann.
