TATE, Jacquelyn L. “Kitten” – of Burton, age 78, passed away September 28, 2017 at McLaren – Flint. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Monday, October 2, 2017 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 706 Beach St., Flint, MI 48502; Fr. James Mangan celebrant. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-6 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Monday, visitation will begin at 9:30 AM until the time of Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities or Carriage Town Ministries.
Jacquelyn was born in Hubble, MI on November 13, 1938, daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (Putvin) LaMothe. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and was very fond of her “Breakfast Club” that followed Mass. “Kitten” loved everyone and was in turn loved by so many.
Jacquelyn is survived by her children, Earl (Sheri) Tate and William (Debbie) Tate; brother, Michael LaMothe; sister, Lauretta Montini; grandchildren, Shaun and Lindsey Tate, Jessica and Chris O’Neil, Amanda Tate, Jake Tate, Jennifer Tate; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; many many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa McNicol; grandson, Ryan Tate.
