Ruth Jeanette DuCap of Davison age 79 died Tuesday July 3, 2012 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Friday July 6, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski Celebrant, Private burial at St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Ruth will lie in state at the church from 6-8 pm Thursday with a parish scripture service at 7 pm. Those desiring may make contributions in Ruth’s memory to St. John Church Memorial Fund or McLaren Hospice. Ruth was born in Essexville Michigan April 4, 1933 the daughter of the late; Henry & Theresa (Spegel) Sylvester, and has resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to James Ducap on September 27, 1952, and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Jim, children; Candice & Tim Betts, Kenneth & Robin DuCap, Jozann & Donald Burgin, Nancy & Brian Kramer, Virginia Laguerre, Patricia & John Ackerley, Gabrielle & Augustine Zamarripa, Gerald & LeeAnn DuCap, and Kelly DuCap; Grandchildren; Theresa Betts, Neal Betts, Carrie Sartor, April Sartor, Jay DuCap, Amanda Lucus, Edwin Kramer, Helena Kramer, Kelsie Kramer, Melina Dio, Jannette Laguerre, Max DuCap-Laguerre, Jean Charles Laguerre, Katherine Ackerley, Patrick Ackerley, Mary Ackerley, Keelin Ackerley, Mollie Ackerley, Arcelia Zamarripa, August Zamarripa, Julianna Zamarripa, David Zamarripa, Phillip DuCap, Daniel DuCap, Donna DuCap, and ten great grandchildren, Brother Henry & Dolores Sylvester.
