Stewart, Ann Marie, of Mt. Morris, age 66, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at McLaren-Flint. A Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at St. Robert Catholic Church. Fr. Gordon Reigle will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Rossell Funeral Homea and 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the time of the Mass. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County or Dom Polski of Flint.
Ann was born in Flint, Michigan, on August 8, 1950, the daughter of Robert and Mary Ann (Collins) Stewart. She retired from Mott Children's Health Center after nearly 40 years of service to the children of the Flint Community. Ann was an avid reader and enjoyed needlework. She was the most devoted aunt to her niece and nephews and dearly loved her dogs, Gizmo and Finnbar. Ann served as past board member for Dom Polski. She will be remembered as always having a hug and a smile for everyone and never forgetting a name.
Ann is survived by her sisters, Mary “Cookie” Kratzer of Flushing, Jean Stewart of Arkansas, Ellen Stewart-Miller and husband Jeff Miller of Flushing, Patricia Stewart of Flushing; sister-in-law, Mary Stewart of Arizona; niece and nephews, Lori Axelson, Zachary Stewart, Greg Stewart, Ian Miller, and Garret Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert, Jr. “BJ”. |
