NIZIOL, Lorraine L. – Of Mt. Morris, age 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at her great granddaughter, Katrina’s house.
Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Niziol was born in Phelps, Wisconsin on April 15, 1919,
daughter of the late W. John and Emma (Maybe) Duckworth.
She married Frank Niziol in 1968 in Flint and he preceded her in death in 1993.
She loved going to the casino and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are daughter, Carol;
grandchildren, Dave Trowbridge, Cathy Blankenship, Dan Trowbridge, Lorri and husband Merle Whipple;
6 great-grandchildren;
7 great-great-grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters.
