Holbin, Lurinda M – of Clio, age 66, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Hurley Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Old Newsboys of Flint.
Lurinda was born October 1, 1949 in Flint, Michigan to the late Calvin and Mary (Eagan) Rumbold. She graduated from Davison High School. Lurinda married Gerald Holbin on September 31, 1977. She had resided in Clio since 1988 coming from Otisville. She retired from Chevrolet Metal Fab with 25 years of service. She enjoyed reading, camping, travel, her friends and family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Husband, Jerry; 2 children: Corey (Jolie) Gibbs of Germany and Kelly Holbin of Atlanta, GA; 2 grandchildren: Fallon and Piper Gibbs; Sisters: Kathy (Bob) Beecher, Callie (John) Lauhoff, Suzie (Rick) Ferguson, Joni Donahue (Robert Duby), Lori (Tony) Teets; Brother, Jimmy Rumbold.
