CARDINAL, John - Of Flint, age 75, died Thursday, August 18, 2016
at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Tom Knight officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
Visitation 1-8pm Tuesday and 10am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
John was born in Flint on September 17, 1940, the son of John and Vivian Cardinal. John’s favorite things to do were hunting with his son, Mark and working with his son, Greg in his landscaping business. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are wife, Judith;
sons, Mark (Mary) and Greg;
grandchildren, Crystal (Justin), Mark Jr, and Amanda Rain;
great-grandchildren, Austin and Brooklyn;
mother, Vivian Cardinal-Smith;
sisters, Jacquelyn (Larry) Beckley and Carolyn (Timothy) Hysell;
and many nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his father, John.
