MILLER, Sharon Lee - Age 61, of Howell, formerly of Fenton, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, February 15 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Nic Mihailoff officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Wednesday, February 13 and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, February 14 at the funeral home. Sharon was born July 13, 1957 in Flint, the daughter of James Ballard and Garnett Pauline (Dotson) Hurley. She was a 1975 graduate of Fenton High School. She married Richard "Rick" Raymond Miller on January 20, 1995 in Clarkston. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to many. She was active throughout her lifetime in various endeavors involving adoption, ministering to seniors, Church hospitality, financial support to children in need, and veteran support causes. She had a quality that would draw others to her with her grace, empathy, and words of comfort.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Richard "Rick" Raymond Miller of Howell; three children, Ryan (Arati) Fessler of Hartland, Elia Miller and Ava Miller both of Howell; grandson, Riyan; sisters, Judith (Dr. Joseph) Trollman, Chris (Don) Burdick, and Wanda (Robert) Shumate all of Fenton; two brothers, Larry (Sharon) Hurley of Fenton and Clyde Hurley of GA; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Gary Hurley.
