ALLMAN, Harold LaVern – of Clio, age 90, died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at home. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
Harold was born October 3, 1928 in Owosso, Michigan to the late Harold and Marion (Bennett) Allman. He grew up in Harrison, Michigan and graduated from Harrison High School with the class of 1946. Harold served his country in the US Army in Korea. On May 16, 1953 he married Lois Sharp and she preceded him in death on December 6, 2017. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he worked for Buick as a Utility Man for 30 years at plant 40. Harold was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio, Michigan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the Clio Family Pharmacy.
Surviving are: Children, Michael Allman, Phyllis (Duane) Renshaw; Grandchildren, Pam (Joseph) Collins, Nicholas (Amber) Renshaw, Nicole (Craig) Stultz; Great Grandchildren, Bentley Stultz, Colton Stultz, Julianna Collins, Quinn Renshaw, Bristol Renshaw; Sister, Joyce Campbell; Sisters in law, Marjorie Allman, Dorothy Allman; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Wife Lois Allman; Siblings, JoAnna Taylor, Ham Allman, Wayne Allman; Brother in law, Ken Campbell.
