NICANDER, Sally Sue, age 67 of Flint, passed away suddenly and joined her husband (Aaro Oscar), and departed family, in heaven on April 13, 2024. Cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sally to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
Sally was born on March 30, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to the late William Edward and Ruth Nadine (Childs) Sulzmann. She enjoyed shopping, going to the casino (and often times winning) and she cherished the time that she spent with her family...especially her grandchildren. She attended the Ainsworth School System.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Nadine-Sulzmann Wier of Flint and Alyssa Nadine (Travis) Thomason of Flint. Grandchildren, Luke Austin Wier; Prentiss William Wier; Freya Nadine Parks; and Nova Dean Thomason. Siblings, Deborah (Thomas) Felisky; Roxanne (John) Charron; and James Karl Sulzmann. Special nieces, Danielle Charron and Rachel (Andrew) Gribas and great-niece and great-nephews, Chad; Clara; and Wyatt. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Aaro; her parents; and brothers, William Edward, Jr.; Dallas Julian; and Michael Harold.
