Sally Smith, age 72 of Lupton, Michigan passed away on July 14, 2024 in her home at Sage Lake, surrounded by her family, after a long battle of liver disease.
Sally was born March 1, 1952 in Owosso, Michigan to the late Lawrence and Lucille (Morrissette) Jordan. She was raised in Oakley, Michigan and moved to Chesaning, Michigan after marrying her high school sweetheart, Bruce Smith. Sally thoroughly enjoyed her career at Chesaning Union Schools as a Paraprofessional. Upon retirement, Sally and her daughter Melissa lived full time at their dream lake house on Sage Lake. Sally loved spending time with friends and family on Sage Lake, her little piece of “heaven on earth” as she called it. Sally’s big heart and caring personality will never be forgotten.
Those left to cherish in her memory are her three children, Alan (Jessica) Smith, Troy (Sabrina) Smith, and Melissa Smith; grandchildren, Lexi, Logan, Jameson, and Sawyer Smith. She is also survived by her siblings, Mary Ann LeVasseur, Michael (Beverly) Jordan, Jacqueline Jordan (Bill Shepperdson), Dennis (Marquita) Jordan, and Larry (Norma) Jordan, as well as many other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her spouse, Bruce Smith; parents, Lawrence and Lucille Jordan; infant brother, Douglas Jordan; and brother-in-law, Ernie LeVasseur.
