CLARKSON, Phillip D. – Of Davison, age 53, died Saturday, July 27, 2013 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Montrose Cemetery in Montrose.
Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one's choice, especially any involved with hunting groups.
Visitation 2-7 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Phillip was born in Flint, Michigan on June 7, 1960.
On January 9, 1982 he married Tammy Tackebury.
He was a member of the Davison Country Club. He loved golf, hunting, racquetball and enjoyed any Michigan sports. He was a Gift of Life Donor.
Mr. Clarkson was employed by GM Metal Fab.
Surviving are wife, Tammy;
brother, Mike and wife JJ Clarkson of Texas;
sisters, Linda Flowers of Missouri and
Lisa Clarkson of Florida;
sister-in-law, Tracy and husband Dan McAfee of Montrose;
brothers-in-law, Tim Tackebury of Montrose and
Josh Tackebury of Bay City;
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Juanita Clarkson and brother-in-law, Brian Tackebury.
