MORRIS W. KELLY, age 82 of Otisville, formerly of Otter Lake, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Francis Faraci officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 3-8PM, at the Mumford Hudson Funeral Home with a rosary service at 7PM. Contributions may be made to the Eastern Michigan Food Bank. Morris was born on January 7, 1932 to Emanuel and Florence (Duret) Kelly. He married Theresa Taylor on September 13, 1966 in Lapeer, MI. He retired after 43 years as an owner-operator in the cement industry. Morris was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and the St. Francis Men’s Club. He enjoyed classic cars, bikes, tractors, mowing the lawn and riding his Harley. Surviving is his wife, Theresa; children: Michael (Jan) Kelly, Colleen Thomson, and Mark (Mandy) Kelly; grandchildren: Hailey, Nicole, Zachary, Samantha, Tyler, Jacob, Ethan, Riley and Tyler; brother, Donald; and sisters: Corrine and Grace Howard. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Lorraine and Carole. |
