MOYER, Jan – of Burton, age 74, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024 at McLaren – Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 6 PM Friday, September 6, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors from 3-6 PM on Friday at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Genesee County, in Jan’s memory.
Jan was born in Flint, MI on December 19, 1949, daughter of the late Emil and Glendora (Aldrich) Timmons. On June 24, 1967, she married Myron Moyer. Jan found joy in many simple pleasures: she loved writing, fishing, and cooking, and had a special fondness for Mahjong. Her heart melted at the sight of puppies, especially their endearing "puppy breath." Above all, Jan treasured the moments spent with her family and friends, who brought her the greatest happiness in life.
Jan is survived by her loving husband, Myron; children, Nick (Tina) Moyer and Ken (Jenn) Williamson; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Terry “Tip” Timmons; and many other loving family members and friends.
