HICKEY, Stacy Lynn (Metcalfe) - age 45, of Holly, died Saturday, April 10, 2016 after a courageous three year battle with ovarian cancer. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Fr. Jim Rolph celebrant. Visitation will be held 12 - 3 and 5-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a scripture service will be held at 6 PM Tuesday. Visitation will also be held 10 AM until the time of mass Wednesday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice. Stacy was born June 2, 1970 in Flint, the daughter of Robert Clyde and Debra Ann (Dixon) Metcalfe. She was a graduate of Fenton High School and a registered nurse at Genesys Health Systems. Stacy married James L. Hickey on October 10, 2009. She was a passionate caregiver at work and in all areas of her life, she always put others first. Stacy's children were her many nieces and nephews that she loved very much. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Surviving are: husband, James; parents, Robert and Debra Metcalfe; dog, Cody; two brothers, Sean and Desiree (Deuel) Metcalfe and Scot and Beth (Ford) Metcalfe; mother-in-law, Patricia Hickey; and many nieces and nephews.
