MONTLE, RAYMOND L. – of Millington, died peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Medilodge of Frankenmuth. He was 86 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery – Arbela Twp. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-8PM and Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Ray was born April 26, 1930 in Millington, Michigan to the late Chauncy and Beatrice (Collar) Montle. He resided in Millington his entire life. Ray married Agnes Jutila on August 28, 1954. They enjoyed 62 years together. Mr. Montle retired from AC with over 36 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #651. He enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are: Wife, Agnes Montle of Millington; 5 children: Donna (Steven) Geyer of Frankenmuth; Debra (Rodney) Harpst of Birch Run, Charles (Tonya) Montle of Clio, Diane Porter of Auburn Hills, and Roger Montle of Millington; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; Nephew, Mickey Montle; Great niece, Kimberly.
